We are looking for someone who wants to educate and share their knowledge in industrial technology with our high school students at Taserudsgymnasiet in Arvika.

About 430 students are enrolled in eight national vocational programs and introductory programs at the school. The school works for a good atmosphere and a sense of community for students and staff, and conducts education in close collaboration with the local business community.

Responsibilities

You will teach students in vocational subjects within the industrial technology program together with our other vocational teachers. You will be part of a team, and your work will be carried out in close collaboration with others as well as independently. Work with the school's mission based on the curriculum, such as value-based work and mentorship, is included.

Qualifications

You have knowledge in welding technology and the areas included in the program's subjects, such as work environment, material knowledge, and tool handling. You are preferably a qualified vocational teacher in the industrial technology program at the high school level and ideally hold a teaching license. Other experience or education in the field may also be considered an asset. Your ability to express yourself in speech and writing is good.

As a person, you are engaged, structured, and solution-focused. You are a clear leader with the ability to adapt teaching and create good relationships. Good IT skills are a prerequisite that you can also use in teaching. You see the school as a whole where we all have a shared responsibility for the students' development.

A B driver's license is required for the position as you will also visit students who are undergoing workplace-based learning and collaborate with actors from the business community in various contexts.
